Our New Truck

Our New State of the Art Truck is Designed to Interface Directly with Our Master Control Room in Los Angeles

Pacific Television Center’s ENG truck and microwave network in Los Angeles covers nearly 10,000 square miles. Our new state of the art truck is unique, in that, it is designed to interface directly with Pacific Television Center’s Master Control Room in Los Angeles.

Just imagine, an HD MCR and multiple HD live shot positions on the move. This mobile facility is equipped with a wireless camera and IFB with return vision capability, giving crews the freedom to get the shot even if at a distance. It can stream MPEG4 HD quality video and audio and is armed with encoders capable of doing up to four independent services, for multiple clients, at once.   Pacific Television Center’s microwave network, which

includes Mt. Wilson and Century City receive sites, brings mobility and versatility to any live broadcast at a fraction of the cost of traditional satellite trucks. Our truck is ideal for location live shots, play outs, remote production and redundant backup for critical events. It was front and center at this year’s SAG awards, transmitting the live show, as well as, red carpet, backstage, and customer content.
